The petitioner approached the first respondent to accept basic tax in respect of the property comprised in Sy.No.843/2 in Methala Village, Kodungallur Taluk. The Village Officer by Ext.P7 replied the request of the petitioner stating that as per the village records the land in the above survey number is recorded as 'Puramboke'.
