JUDGMENT

The petitioner contends that the push back seats in his contract carriage have been replaced with ordinary seats. The petitioner wants endorsement to that effect in the registration certificate of the vehicle. This is to enable him to remit the motor vehicle tax for the present quarter accordingly. Ext.P3 application put in by the petitioner in this regard is pending. The Senior Government Pleader points out that the report of the Field Enquiry Officer is awaited.

I direct the respondent to consider Ext.P3 application and take the proceedings to a logical end. The same shall be done within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.

The writ petition is disposed of as above.
