JUDGMENT
In both these writ petitions, the petitioners are aggrieved by the steps taken by the respondent Khadi & Village Industries Board, for recovery of defaulted loan amounts. When the matter was taken up today for orders, it is submitted by the learned standing counsel for the Khadi & Village Industries Board that acting on a request for extension of a One Time Settlement (OTS) facility, the respondent Board has granted the petitioners and the other members of the society, the benefit of discharging the liability under the OTS facility and the same has been accepted by the said persons and they are contemplating effecting repayment, in terms of the OTS scheme. Learned counsel for the petitioners admit this factual position.
Taking note of the said submissions, these writ petitions are closed, by directing that recovery steps for recovery of amounts from the petitioners shall be kept in abeyance till 31.03.2016, which is the date upto which the OTS scheme is to remain valid.
