Petitioners in the captioned writ petitions are Drivers retired from the Kerala State Road Transport Corporation on 31.05.2016. The grievance voiced by the petitioners in these writ petitions is that, the pension and pensionary beneifts are not paid to the petitioners. In that regard, petitioners have submitted Ext.P2 representations, which are pending consideration before the 1^st respondent. It is in this background, seeking appropriate reliefs, these writ petitions are filed.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Standing Counsel for the Corporation.

Learned Standing Counsel for the Corporation submitted that, there is some delay on the part of the authorities to disburse the admitted pension and pensionary benefits.

Therefore, there will be a direction to the 1^st

respondent to release the admitted pension and pensionary benefits to the petitioners within three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment and consider Ext.P2 representations, within six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment and if still further amounts are due to the petitioners towards the pension and pensionary benefits, same shall be released within one month thereafter.
