This writ petition is filed by the petitioner challenging the action of the respondent in conducting matching of child by second respondent in violation of the Guidelines Governing the Adoption of Children, 2015. An interim order was passed by this Court directing the second respondent to take a decision in the matter. Pursuant to the interim direction, an order is passed by the second respondent on 27.10.2016 finding respondents 5 and 6 eligible to seek adoption. Therefore, the subject matter of the writ petition has become infructuous. Recording that, in accordance with the directions issued by this Court as per the interim order, the relief is secured by the petitioner, this writ petition is closed. The order passed by the second respondent will be subject to the result of the order passed by the family court pending by and between the parties. It is also made clear that, benefits rendered under the guidelines, will be provided to respondents 5 and 6, during the interim period, awaiting orders of Family Court.
