The petitioner is the wife of the respondent, who has

filed O.P.937/15 in family Court, Nedumangad. The request of the wife is to transfer it to Family Court, Kollam.

Heard.

The petitioner is a resident of Kottiyam near

Kollam. According to her, though the respondent is employed at Trivandrum he is an ordinary resident of Kollam and his address given in the petition filed in the Family Court is not correct. To reach Nedumangad from Kollam, the petitioner has to travel more than two hours by train and by bus. On the other hand, for the respondent to reach Kollam, he can straightaway come from Trivandrum by train in one hour 15 minutes. Considering the comparative hardship, I am inclined to grand the prayer of the petitioner.

In the result, this petition is allowed, O.P.937/2015 of Family Court, Nedumangad is transferred to Family Court, Kollam. The parties are directed to appear before that court on 9.3.16. The court shall try to dispose of the matter as expeditiously as possible.
