In the aforesaid original petition an amendment to the
Special Rules at Ext.P8 is challenged. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that subsequently another amendment to the special rules came into force, which was challenged and then again an amendment was made which was favourable to the petitioner. In such circumstance, without any expression of opinion on merits, the original petition would stand closed.
