J U D G M E N T
The petitioner is concerned with Ext.P4. The
petitioner contended that the petitioner has been earmarked for promotion to the post of Joint Regional Transport Officer in the Motor Vehicle Department, for the year 1998, as cleared by the DPC. The petitioner contends that the juniors of the petitioner have been assigned the year 1995. It is to be noticed that none of the said juniors have been impleaded herein.
The writ petition itself is of the year 2000 and the petitioner, at that point of time, was aged 51 years. The petitioner definitely has retired by now. In such circumstance, nothing survives in the writ petition. The same is dismissed as infructuous.
