JUDGMENT

Petitioner submits that his father while working as Lab Assistant under the 4^th respondent, NSS College, Nenmara died on 02.09.2012. Petitioner submits that he is entitled for compassionate employment under the dying-in-harness scheme. Petitioner submitted Ext.P3 application under the above scheme. Petitioner submits that in spite of lapse of more than two months, no decision has been taken on Ext.P3.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances, there shall be a direction to the 4^th respondent, Manager of the above College to take up Ext.P3 and pass appropriate orders thereon within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.

The Writ Petition is disposed of.
