JUDGMENT

The petitioner was holding an additional charge of System Manager in the service of the respondent University from 1998 onwards. In the year 2008, he was appointed as Systems Manager, in the scale of pay of Rs.16650-23200. The petitioner submitted that by virtue of Ext.P1 Government order, the scale of pay of comparable posts in the University of Kerala will be extended to the respondent University. It is further submitted that in the year 2008, the scale of pay for the post of Systems Manager was Rs.23,200-31150. Therefore, the petitioner, requesting the parity for the scale of pay, made Exts.P4, P5 and P7 representations before the respondent.

In view of the above and in the light of the relevant Government orders, it shall be adverted by the University. Therefore, the respondent shall place the above
