JUDGMENT
The petitioner has more than 35 years of service under the Cochin Devaswom Board. He made a request for transfer to Velappaya Shiva Temple from Thanikkudom Keezhedom Ayyappa Kshetram. The petitioner cites nephrological problems for transfer. He points out that at Velappaya Shiva Temple daily wages are being employed to perform the duties of Melsanthi. The petitioner submits that he is eligible for transfer to Velappaya Shiva Temple. He also points out that Santhi working at Velappaya Shiva Temple was superannuated on 31/12/2014. The petitioner made Ext.P1 representation before the Board. The petitioner also rely on the protest from the devotees for not appointing a regular Melsanthi on superannuation of the incumbent.
