J U D G M E N T
The complaint of the petitioner is that she has not been disbursed the compensation awarded to her under the Workmen's Compensation Act, for the reason that the Workemen's Compensation Commissioner is not functioning. The Government Pleader on instructions submits that, the Industrial Tribunal, Palakkad has been notified as the Workmen's Compensation Commissioner, Thrissur and that the files are being transferred to the said authority. Therefore, he assures that the compensation awarded to the petitioner would be disbursed to her without further delay.
In view of the above, this writ petition is disposed of directing the first respondent to disburse the compensation awarded to the petitioner as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of one month of the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
