Learned Ombudsman has submitted the report No. 143/2014. The work in question relates to the construction of Sreekovil for Lord Siva, Malikappurathamma, Rakshus Thara and Chuttumathil at Parappar Devaswom Ettumanoor Group under Travancore Devaswom Board.
.18, 13,350/- prepared based on 2012 schedule. It has been executed by the nominee of the Temple Advisory Committee at 10% below the estimate rate. Apart from the major items there is a construction of compound wall also where the estimate is 13,25,000/-.In the light of the various aspects brought out in the report, we allow the application. Accordingly, the DBP is disposed of making it clear that the expenditure will be subject to audit.
