Ramachandran Nair, J.
Learned Ombudsman has submitted Report No.152/2014 with regard
to the sanction of work, viz. Closing of leackages to Thiruvonam Auditorium in Thrikkakara Devaswom. The Board has filed Petition No.60/2014. The estimate is for Rs.4,13,000/- and the contract is awarded in favour one Shri P.T. Domini at 37% above the estimate rate. The Local Fund Audit has filed its remarks.
“With regard to the lump sum amount, it is agreed that instead of the amount now shown, payment will be made on the basis of schedule rate”.
DBP No.127/2014

The above condition will be included in the agreement between the contractor and the Board.
The D.B.P. is accordingly allowed and the sanction is granted for execution of the work. It is made clear that expenditure will be subject to audit.
