JUDGMENT
The petitioners are employees of Sree Vayiliamkunnu Bhagavathi Devaswom in Palakad District under the Malabar Devaswom Board. Their grievance is regarding the non-payment of arrears of salary. According to them, they are entitled to arrears of salary based on the fixation effected as per Ext.P2. Raising grievance regarding the delay in the matter of payment of arrears based on the fixation effected as per Ext.P2 the petitioners have filed Ext.P3 before the third respondent. The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the writ petition can be disposed of with a direction to the third respondent to consider Ext.P3 and take appropriate action
thereon, in accordance with law.

learned standing counsel appearing for respondents 2 to 4 and also the learned Government Pleader. In view of the order I propose to pass in the writ petition I do not think it necessary to hear respondents 5 and 6 in this proceedings. Taking into account the fact that Ext.P3 is pending before the third respondent, the third respondent is directed to consider Ext.P3 and pass appropriate orders thereon, in accordance with law. Needless to say that before passing orders on Ext.P6, respondents 5 and 6 shall also be put on notice. This shall be done expeditiously, at any rate, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
