This is a suo moto proceedings initiated based on an anonymous complaint. The complaint relates to transfer and postings of Gazetted Officers in the Travancore Devaswom Board. We have got the report namely, T.D.B.Report No.80/2013 of the learned Ombudsman. We find from the report that the learned Ombudsman has considered various aspects including the changes effected by the Board in respect of the transfer and postings of Assistant Commissioners/Administrative Officers and the proceedings issued by the Devaswom Board. The Board has explained the deviations made from the suggestions of the Devaswom Commissioner. We have been told by the learned Standing Counsel that these deviations were required after considering various aspects including the various norms which were currently in force. We do not find any infirmity in the matter. The D.B.P is accordingly closed.
