Learned Ombudsman has submitted report
No.148/2013 in Petition No.74/2013 submitted by the Travancore Devaswom Board seeking sanction of the estimate for construction of a boundary wall on the eastern side of NH-47 in Vandanam Devaswom, Ambalappuzha Group. The estimate is for ₹11,05,000/-. It is stated in the report that there were two tenders and it was given to the lowest tenderer, who has agreed to do the work at 5% excess over the estimate amount. It is also stated that the

vast area of Devaswom property has to be protected from trespassers and boundary wall is necessary. We, therefore, sanction the work and the expenditure will be subject to
audit.
DBP is accordingly disposed of.
