JUDGMENT

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner.

The petitioner retired from the service of the Kerala State Road Transport Corporation on 13.08.2010 as Assistant Transport Officer. He stood as a surety to Shri. P. V Raju who availed a loan from respondents 2 and 3 agreeing to recover the amount by way of deductions from his salary and to remit the same to the Society every month. The principal debtor defaulted the repayment of the loan. He expired on 06.02.2006 and his Death Cum Retirement Gratuity and other pensionary benefits due to him has not yet been disbursed to him. The first respondent issued Ext.P2 notice to the petitioner informing him that the loan amount will be recovered from the pensionary benefits of the petitioner. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner submitted Ext.P4 representation before the 1^st respondent. Let respondent No.1 dispose of Ext.P4 representation submitted by the petitioner within one month from today after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.

This writ petition is disposed of as above.
