JUDGMENT

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned standing counsel Sri.K.M.S.Menon for the Electricity Board.

Petitioner in this writ petition has proposed to start a plywood unit and obtained statutory consent from the District Medical Officer, Pollution Control Board, Assamannoor Grama Panchayath and also obtained registration from the District Industries Centre as evident from Exts.P1 to P4. Simultaneously, petitioner applied for electric connection and remitted an amount of Rs.5,000/- on 4.3.2011 and executed a minimum guarantee agreement for effecting supply to industrial premises of the petitioner. However, till this date supply has not been given. Even though he has complied with some formalities, the petitioner has not deposited service connection charges. Petitioner undertakes to deposit all necessary fee as

required under the Rules within one month from today. On deposit of the entire amount and compliance of the formalities, petitioner shall be given electric connection within one month from the date of compliance of all the formalities.
