The writ petition is filed seeking a direction directing the respondent to dispose of Ext.P2 application for modified regular permit on the route Walayar-Palakkad Stadium Bus Stand via Kozhinijapara, Kuttippallam, Chittur in respect of stage carriage No. KL-11/M779 urgently by circulation under Rule 130 of the Kerala Motor Vehicle Rules.

The application for regular permit for the stage carriage bearing registration No. KL-11/M779 on the route WalayarPalakkad Stadium Bus stand was considered and adjourned by directing the petitioner to file a modified proposal with new set of timings. Pursuant thereon, the petitioner submitted Ext.P2 application dated 18.7.2011. Petitioner is aggrieved by the delay in disposal of Ext.P2 application. Learned Government Pleader on instructions submits that the application will be considered in the next RTA meeting.

The writ petition is therefore, disposed of directing the respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on Ext.P2 application in the next RTA meeting. Since the matter is delayed,

the petitioner proposes to submit an application for temporary permit. In the event of the petitioner submit an application for temporary permit, there will be a direction to the respondent/Secretary,RTA, Palakkad to consider and pass orders on the application for temporary permit within a period of three weeks thereafter.
