The writ petition is filed seeking a direction directing the respondents to take a final decision of Ext.P1 application for grant of regular stage carriage permit on the route Amilanjapoil - Iritty - Chittarikkal for the vehicle bearing Reg.No.KL-59-A-3690 and for a direction directing the 2^nd respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext.P3 application for temporary permit and grant

4 months' temporary permit.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader.

Ext.P1 application for grant of regular stage carriage permit and Ext.P3 application for temporary permit are pending consideration before the respondents respectively. The grievance raised by the petitioner in the writ petition is that the delay in

passing orders on Exts.P1 & P2 is causing severe hardship to the petitioner and the travelling public.

The learned Government pleader on instruction submits that Ext.P1 application for regular stage carriage permit will be considered in the next RTA meeting and Ext.P3 application for temporary permit will be considered within a period of two weeks.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 2^nd respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on Ext.P3 application for temporary permit within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment and the 1^st respondent shall consider Ext.P1 application in the next RTA meeting.
