The petitioner has approached this Court with the following

prayers :

“i. Issue a writ of mandamus or such other writ or direction, directing the 4th respondent to issue five non compounded advance increments to the petitioner with effect from 01.09.2008.

ii. To set aside Ext.P2 reply letter and give direction to the 4th respondent to reconsider the application of the petitioner seeking non compounded five time advance increment.

Iii. Issue such other relief which this Hon'ble Court deem fit to grant.”

During the pendency of the proceedings, the petitioner has

come up with I.A.No.15114/2012 producing a copy of the revision petition preferred before the first respondent as Ext.P4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, the grievance of the petitioner

will stand redressed, if a direction is given to have considered and finalised Ext.P4 within a time frame.

Heard the learned Government Pleader as well.

In the above circumstances, the writ petition is disposed of,

directing the first respondent to consider Ext.P4 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, at the earliest, at any rate within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.

The petitioner shall produce a copy of this judgment along with a copy of I.A.No.15114/2012 before the first respondent for further steps.
