The limited relief that is sought for by the counsel for the petitioners when this matter is taken up today is for a direction to consider and dispose of Exts.P5(a) and P6(a), two petitions filed by the petitioners before the first respondent. The first respondent has, as evidenced by Ext.P7, entrusted the matter to the second respondent for being heard and the matter stands posted to 14.08.2012. Therefore, the counsel for the petitioners seeks the issue of a direction to consider and pass orders on Exts.P5(a) and P6(a), before proceeding with the final hearing of the appeal filed by respondents 3 to 8.
