The petitioners are aggrieved by the refusal on the part of the 2^nd respondent in accepting land tax in respect of the petitioners' property and issuing possession certificate thereof. In respect thereof, the petitioners have filed Ext.P6 representation before the 2^nd respondent. The petitioners seek expeditious disposal of the same.

Having heard the learned Government Pleader also, I dispose of this writ petition with a direction to the 2^nd respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext.P6, after affording an opportunity of being heard to the petitioners, as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
