J U D G M E N T

The petitioner, a stage carriage operator, has applied for the issue of a temporary permit on the route Eramalloor – Elamakkara with stage carriage vehicle bearing Registration No.KL 7/BA 1330 in the vacancy of stage carriage bearing Registration No.KL 7/AZ 5422. According to the petitioner, though the original permit has lapsed, no temporary permit has been issued in its place so far. Therefore, the petitioner has submitted Ext.P2 application for issue of a temporary permit. He complains that the application has not been considered so far.

The learned Government Pleader on instructions submits that the application submitted by the petitioner would be considered within a short period of time.

This Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of directing the respondent to consider Ext.P2 application for temporary permit in accordance with law and to pass appropriate orders thereon,
