JUDGMENT

The petitioner has approached this Court with the following

prayers:

“i. Issue a writ in the nature of certiorari calling for the records leading to Ext.P7 and Ext.P18 and to quash the same.

¶37

ii. Issue a writ declaring that the procedure restored while issuing Ext.P18 is against law and therefore Ext.P18 is bad in the eye of law.

Iii. Issue a writ declaring that the petitioner is entitled to get the promotion to the cadre of Asst. Registrar when the same has fallen due when the immediate junior of the petitioner in the grade of Special Grade Co-operative Inspector is promoted tot he post of Asst. Registrar.

iv. Issue a writ declaring that the petitioner is entitled to get the increments and all other benefits as sought in Ext.P17 and issue a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the grant of benefits which are legally due to the petitioner from 2002.”

When the matter is taken up for further consideration today, the learned counsel for the petitioner brought to the notice of this Court that, pursuant to the interim order passed by this Court, the impugned orders have been set aside as per order dated 30.2.2007 and the petitioner does not have any further grievance in this regard. In the said circumstance, this Court finds that, no orders are called for. The writ petition is closed accordingly.
