The original petition is filed seeking a direction directing the respondent to deposit the amount as per Ext.P1 award passed by Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal, Kollam within a time limit to be fixed by this Court and for other incidental reliefs.

Petitioner is the claimant in O.P.(MV) No.482/2005 on the file of the Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal, Kollam. The Tribunal passed an award dated 28.3.12 allowing the petitioner to realise a compensation of Rs.3,85,000/- with interest @ 7.5% from the date of petition till the realization from the respondents with cost. Petitioner submits that the respondent had not so far deposited the amount before the Tribunal. The learned standing counsel on instructions submits that the amount due to the petitioner will be deposited within a period of four months from today. The submission is recorded.
