sovereigns of gold belonging to her were sold for raising funds for that purpose. Later, for the purpose of augmenting the business she had to mortgage her property having an extent of one acre at the instance of the respondent. At the time of construction of the shared household by name `Sivakripa' the respondent received an amount of Rs.4,50,000/from her to meet the unexpected financial crisis. Timber worth Rs.64,000/- was also given by her parents for its construction. Later, home appliances worth Rs.32,000/- were also given by her parents and brother at the time of housewarming. Continued mental and physical torture thereafter made it impossible for her to live with the respondent in the said shared household. She explained the further bitter experiences she had to endure. On 10.12.2007 she was forcibly ousted from the shared household. He continued further mental torturing by affixing vulgar posters in Elampal region. Thereafter, she instituted a suit before the Family Court for realisation of money that was given to the respondent as aforesaid on different occasions. The respondent is not maintaining her or the children born in their wedlock. It was in the said circumstances that, inter alia, raising the aforesaid allegations she filed the above mentioned application seeking orders for protection, residence, monetary relief and compensation.
