JUDGMENT

The petitioner is a Co-operative Society of employees,

conducting services on the route Enathu-Kundara-Mukkada with Stage Carriage bearing registration No.KL-26/A 5210 subject to a settled set of timings. According to the petitioner, two other Stage Carriages bearing registration No.KL-2/X 5913 and KL-2/U 2981 have been introduced on the route Ranni-Pathanamthitta-Kollam. According to the petitioner, the Stage Carriages are not operating their services with the time schedule settled in respect of their services. There is disparity in running time between the said services and that of the petitioner, which results in a lot of inconvenience in the conduct of services. Therefore, the petitioner has submitted a request before the Secretary, RTA, Pathanamthitta for a suitable revision of the running time of all the three services. The petitioner complains that no orders have been passed on his request till date.

would be placed before the next meeting of the RTA.

In the above circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent to place the request of the petitioner, evidenced herein by Ext.P2, before the next meeting of the RTA, who

shall pass appropriate orders thereon, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, and at any rate, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
