J U D G M E N T

Petitioner is working as Inspector of Police (Telecommunication). He was working at Thiruvananthapuram (Rural) and by Ext.P4 order, he has been transferred and posted to Alappuzha. It is this order which is under challenge. It is submitted that petitioner has preferred Ext.P5 representation before the first respondent.

The learned Government Pleader, on instructions, submits that it was to accommodate a person who is soon retiring on superannuation that the petitioner has been transferred.

Having regard to the facts highlighted, I dispose of the writ petition directing the first respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext.P5 representation, as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within a period of four weeks of production of a copy of this judgment.
