The petitioners were retrenched from the services of the respondent. In this writ petition, what they claim is arrears of salary due to them for the period prior to their retrenchment, and the relief sought is that such amounts should be ordered to be paid within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
Having regard to the submissions made by both sides, directing the respondent to settle the monetary claim of the petitioners as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within six months of production of a copy of this judgment, this writ petition is disposed of.
