J U D G M E N T

Violation of Annexure-1 order passed in WP(c).No.290/2010 is alleged in this writ petition. By that order this court directed that Anganwadi Workers/Helpers in the different Anganwadi Centres in the State shall not be selected by a committee which is constituted in terms of para 7 of Ext.P1 Government Order in the writ petition. Petitioner submits that by approving Annexures- 6 and 7 ranked lists as per Annexure A5 order, the interim order passed by this court has been violated.

However from Annexure R2(b) order it is seen that realizing the mistake the respondents themselves have recalled the approval to the sanctioned lists and directed that no appointments shall be made and appointments, if any made, shall be recalled.

From the above, it is evident that the respondents themselves have realised the mistake and rectified the same. Therefore there is nothing warranting initiation of proceedings under the Contempt of Courts Act.

Contempt petition is closed.
