This Contempt Case has been filed alleging wilful disobedience of the direction contained in the judgment in W.A.No.2206 of 2004. When the matter is taken up, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the respondents have now passed an order granting regularisation of the services of the petitioner with effect from 9.2.2010 and that the petitioner intends to challenge the said order with regard to the prayer for retrospective regularisation, by way of separate proceedings. The learned Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 to 3 also places a copy of the said order (G.O.(Rt) No.3238/10/LSGD dated 11.10.2010) for consideration of this Court.

In the above circumstances, the Contempt Case is closed, however, without prejudice to the rights and liberties of the
