Appellant is the petitioner. Petitioner approached this court seeking a direction for correction of her date of birth. She retired from service on 30.6.2009. It is seen that the entry regarding date of birth in the basic record, viz., SSLC book still continues as 4.6.1951. It is not in dispute that only on the basis of that entry in the SSLC book, the entry regarding age in the service record was made. It was in such circumstances, the writ petition was dismissed. In view of the undisputed factual position as above, the appellant cannot have any grievance, since the correction in the basic record, viz., SSLC book having not yet been made, leave alone the question of delay. There is no merit in the Writ Appeal. It is accordingly dismissed.
