These Devaswom Board Applications relate to construction of
dormitories over the existing Donor House Nos. 1 and III to VII at Sabarimala to improve accommodation facilities. Administrative sanction was given by the then Board before they left Office. In the circumstances, we thought that the matter should be considered by the Chief Commissioner who holds the power of the Board. Further, he is also the Chairman of the High Power Committee to implement the Master Plan. Today, when the matter came up for consideration, a memo was filed producing a letter received from the Chief Commissioner, wherein it is stated that the matter was taken up before the High Power Committee and since action is initiated to prepare a detailed lay out plan for Sannidhanam as part of Sabarimala Master plan, it is felt that allowing temporary structures over the donor buildings need not be taken up.

of the Forest Department as well, once a decision is taken by that Committee, there cannot be any further objection in this regard. Therefore, at this stage, we are not considering such objection since the matter is now left to the consideration of the High Power Committee.
