Ext.P1 was rendered directing that the election to the committee of the first respondent Society be re-scheduled by issuing a fresh notification after 25th December, 2007. This writ petition is filed contending that inspite of that direction, no action has been taken by the Administrative Committee, to have the elections conducted. Having regard to the facts, the learned Senior Government Pleader was to obtain instructions from the second respondent as to why the Administrative Committee is not to be removed for inaction following Ext.P1 judgment and the decision in the writ appeal from that. When this matter came up today, the first respondent has entered appearance and it is stated that resolution has been drawn up and forwarded to the State Cooperative Election Commission for further action to conduct election. This submission is recorded and this matter is closed.
