In this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.c, the petitioner, who is the de facto complainant in Crime No.146/2004 of Vaikom Police Station, originally registered for an offence punishable under Section 363 IPC, subsequently charge sheeted for offences punishable under Sections 143,147,148,323,324,342 and 386 read with 149 IPC and whose case is now pending before the J.F.C.M, Vaikom as C.C.No.908/2005, seeks a direction for re-investigation of the case.

According to the petitioner, the Sub Inspector of Police Vaikom failed to examine the owner of the hotel and the Stamp vendor who have not been cited as charge witnesses. This Court is not able to discern the present stage of the said case pending before the J.F.C.M, Vaikom. In case the investigation of this case has been unsatisfactory so as to warrant further investigation, the petitioner can move the trial court for appropriate orders under Section 173(8) Cr.P.C.

Reserving the said right of the petitioner, this Crl.M.C is disposed of.
