JUDGMENT
Learned Government Pleader placed before me a copy of the order passed by the Director of Treasuries on 25.8.2008, issuing a direction to the District Treasury Officer, Mattannur, to the following effect:-
“However in obedience to the order of the Honourable High Court, the District Treasury Officer, Mattannur is directed to issue transfer order to Sri.Abdu Raheem Banathumkandy, Treasurer, Sub Treasury, Peravoor on priority basis to Sub Treasury, Panoor or Sub Treasury, Kuthuparamba, in the next arising vacancy.”
2. In the circumstances, I do not think it is necessary to
further proceed with the Contempt of Court case and the same is accordingly closed.
Copy of the order of the Director of Treasuries shall be supplied to the counsel of the petitioner.
