JUDGMENT
The Writ Petition is filed seeking for a direction to consider Ext.P6 and pass orders thereon and to sanction deputation. Case of the petitioner, in brief, is as follows:
Petitioner is a staff member working in the Calicut University. By Ext.P1, the Government has promulgated necessary Rules for making appointment under the Directorate of Higher Secondary Education. In paragraph 8 of the Rules, it is provided that those who are working in the Universities in Kerala are entitled to be absorbed in the existing vacancies in the Higher Secondary Schools under the Directorate of Higher Secondary Education. Petitioner made Ext.P6 application seeking deputation to any of the Higher Secondary Schools in Ernakulam District. It was duly recommended by the Calicut University and necessary No Objection Certificate also was issued by the University in this regard. Ext.P7 is the No

Objection Certificate issued by the University of Calicut. Heard the learned Government Pleader also. The Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the first respondent to consider Ext.P6 and take a decision thereon in accordance with law, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this Judgment. I leave open the contention of petitioner that he is entitled to be deputed.
