JUDGMENT
The petitioner, who is now working as Head Clerk, claims that her service in the cadre of U.D. Clerk must be reckoned with effect from 1989. Her claim was rejected by the Director of Panchayat as per Ext.P8 dated 31.08.2006. The petitioner challenges Ext.P8. In my view, the petitioner has an efficacious remedy before the Government and in this regard she may approach the Government by means of a representation within four weeks from today and on receipt of such representation, the Government may take appropriate decision within three months thereafter, after hearing the petitioner and any other affected parties. I make it clear that I am not expressing any opinion on the merits of the claim. The petitioner may produce a copy of the writ petition along with the copy of the judgment.
