The issue raised in this writ petition pertains to the appointment of L.P.S.A/U.P.S.A (Malayalam) in Kannur District. The ranked list expired on 28.01.2006. There will be a direction to the 4th respondent to issue advice memos, if not already issued, in respect of the substantive vacancies reported prior to the expiry of the ranked list, within a period of one month from the date of production of a copy of this judgment. In case there is any dispute with regard to the assessment of vacancies presently made by the 3rd respondent, it will be open to the petitioner to approach the 3rd respondent, in which case, the matter will be duly considered by the said respondent within another one month.

The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
