Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the challenge in these original petitions is against the seniority lists which have subsequently been revised by the authorities and promotions have been ordered in accordance with the revised seniority lists and therefore for the present, the petitioners do not wish to prosecute these original petitions any further. Therefore, counsel submits that the original petitions may be dismissed as not pressed without prejudice to the right of the petitioners to take up subsisting grievances, if any, with the appropriate authorities.
Accordingly, the original petitions are dismissed as not pressed without prejudice to the right of the petitioners to agitate their subsisting grievances, if any, before the appropriate authorities.
