Petitioner who is the first accused in Crime No.294/06 of Vadakkekara Police Station for an offence punishable under section 395 IPC, seeks his enlargement on bail. The occurrence took place on 15.7.2006 at 1.45 PM when the de facto complainant was driving an Indica car with cash worth Rs.35 lakhs was intercepted and attacked with sword and other weapons by five assailants including the petitioner and they decamped with the cash as well as the car and the car was subsequently set ablazed at Kuzhuppilly.
