The petitioners have filed this writ petition

challenging the show cause notices issued on 17.10.2025, 13.08.2025 and 17.10.2025 vide Annexures 8F9, 8M9 and 8P9 respectively.

Admittedly, the petitioners, without filing a reply to the show cause notices, have filed this writ petition.

The Hon'ble Apex Court in the case of

Commissioner of Central Excise, Haldia v. M/s.Krishna Wax (P) Ltd. in Civil Appeal No.8609 of 2019 disposed of on 14.01.2019 held as follows:

<12. ... It is thus well settled that writ petition should normally not be entertained against mere issuance of a show-cause notice= .

Considering the exposition of law laid down by the Hon9ble Apex Court, the writ petition filed by the petitioners is not maintainable.

5. Accordingly, I proceed to pass the following order:

(i) The writ petition is disposed of, reserving the liberty to the petitioners to file a reply to the aforesaid show-cause notices, within 15 days from today, and, thereafter, respondent No.2 is directed to consider the reply and to pass an appropriate order, in accordance with law.

(ii) The respondents are directed not to take any coercive steps against the petitioners till passing of an order.

(iii) All the contentions of both the parties are kept open.
