It is the contention of the petitioners that pursuant to the amendment brought to the Mysore Religious and Charitable Inams Abolition Act, 1956, the period for filing the application was extended by one year and accordingly written instructions dated 15.10.2022 at Annexure-C was issued by the Additional Chief Secretary, Revenue Department to all the Deputy Commissioners to ensure that the applications filed before the competent authorities shall be considered and disposed of expeditiously. Learned counsel submits that the petitioners have filed applications at Annexure-A series during January, 2023. However, the applications have not been considered and disposed of till date. Therefore, the prayer in the writ petition is to direct
