It is the contention of the petitioners that the Committee for Regularization of Unauthorised Occupation considered the application filed by the petitioners’ father late Sri Munipoojaiah and passed a resolution on 27.09.1994, pursuant to which official memorandum dated

granting lands to 10 persons in Survey No.25 of Doddamankanala Village, Doddabelavangala Hobli, Doddaballapura Taluk, Bengaluru Rural District. At serial No.6 is the name of Sri Munipoojaiah, S/o Muddaiah, who

is granted 38 guntas. Attached to the memorandum at Annexure-B is the sketch showing the possession of the grantees. However, neither Saguvali chit is issued nor the revenue entries are made in the name of the petitioners’ father. Therefore, the prayer in this writ petition is to direct the respondent – Tahsildar, Doddaballapur Taluk, to issue saguvali chit in favour of the petitioners, who are the legal heirs of late Sri Munipoojaiah.
