Learned counsel for the respondent submits that the present petition is one questioning the Public Auction sought to be held from 11.10.2023 to 16.10.2023 in terms of the paper publication that was issued on 25.09.2023. He submits that the said auction could not be proceeded with, as such the same failed. Subsequently the respondent-corporation has issued another Public notice for sale of the same property to be held on 25.03.2024. Questioning the same, the petitioner has again filed another writ petition in W.P.No.9042/2024. In the light of the subsequent writ petition and in the light of the earlier auction having failed, he submits the petition has become infructuous.
