The petitioner is before this Court seeking for the following reliefs:

"A. Issue a writ in the nature of mandamus directing Respondent Nos.1 to 3, particularly the jurisdictional police, to forthwith consider and act upon the Petitioner's complaint / representation and provide effective police protection to the Petitioner to enter the property bearing Nos.40 and 41, Khatha No.259, situated at Puttenahalli Village, Uttarahalli Hobli, Bengaluru South Taluk, now within BBMP/Bommanahalli limits, and to peacefully reside in one out of the twelve tenements / one self-contained residential portion therein;

B. Direct Respondent Nos.1 to 3 to ensure that Respondent Nos. 4 to 6, their agents, henchmen or anybody claiming through them do not obstruct, threaten, intimidate or prevent the Petitioner from entering and residing in one such tenement in the schedule property except by due process of law;

C. Grant such other order or relief as this Hon'ble Court deems fit in the facts and circumstances of the case, in the interest of justice and equity."

The contention of the counsel for the petitioner is that the petitioner has allegedly been thrown out of her house and the police is not giving protection to the petitioner to enter the house and stay in the said house.

The petitioner has already filed a complaint on 20.6.2026, in furtherance of which Crime No.200/2026 has been registered by the Puttenahalli Police Station, Jayanagara Sub-Division, making allegations against respondent Nos.4 to 6. It is for the official respondents to investigate the said matter and file a final report.
