ORAL ORDER

Petitioner is before this Court seeking for the following reliefs:

" 1. Issue a Writ of Certiorari quashing the notice No.BCCC/JC/Z1/PR/25-26 dated 05.02.2026 issued by the Respondent No.2, the ANNEXURE-F.

2. Issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the Respondents to consider and dispose of the Petitioner's renewal application dated 23.04.2026, ANNEXURE-E.

3. Direct the Respondents not to take coercive steps against the Petitioner.

4. Pass such other orders as this Hon'ble Court deems fit in favour of the petitioner in facts and circumstances of the case may required including the cost of the writ petition ."

The grievance of the petitioner is that though the petitioner has replied to the show cause notice dated 05.02.2026 under Section 4(1) of the Karnataka Public Premises (Eviction of Unauthorized Occupants) Act, 1974 ('the Act' for short) at Annexure-F by way of reply dated 23.04.2025 at Annexure-E, the respondents are forcing the petitioner to vacate the premises.

When a show cause notice under Section 4(1) of the Act has been issued and the same has been replied to, until necessary orders are passed thereon, the question of forcing the alleged unauthorized occupant to vacate the premises would not arise. Until orders are passed on the said show cause notice and the reply issue, directing the respondents not to take any coercive steps against the petitioner. The petition stands disposed of .
