Halli/Mugadkoppa, Taluk Haliyal, District Uttara Kannada, filed this writ petition under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India praying for (i) mandamus directing inclusion of their names in the final eligible borrowers voter list and permission to cast their votes in the election to the committee of management of respondent No.5 society (Shri Satya Pursha Vividdodeshagala Prathamika Grameena Krushi Sahakara Sangha, K K Halli), scheduled for 28.12.2025 as per the calendar of events dated 08.12.2025 published by respondent No.4 vide Annexure-A, and (ii) mandamus directing respondent No.4 to declare the election results of respondent No.5 society after completion of the election process in accordance with law. Learned counsel for respondent No.5 submitted that, pursuant to the order dated 26.12.2025 of a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court, the petitioners had already been permitted to vote and nothing remained to be adjudicated.
